Why Preserving Water?

Water is one of the most valuable resources on earth. Granted access to potable water allows an appropriate development of the society, guarantees optimal hygiene conditions, better education opportunities, and poverty alleviation.

Water scarcity is affecting already 2 billion people and major cities around the world. Continue misusing and overusing water is untenable. At Gjosa, we strive to protect water! We are committed to creating a better path that will lead people, businesses, and different communities into a brighter, more sustainable future.

How it all began

Taking its name and inspiration from nature, Gjosa translates to “springing up” in Icelandic. We have incorporated the company in 2016, benefiting from several years of incubation.

We have combined the inventiveness of Elmar Mock (co-inventor of the Swatch) with our Swiss engineering know-how and our entrepreneurial mindset to develop a new technology, which can significantly reduce water and energy consumption in many different sectors.
